Poster Design Ideas

For our poster ideas for our promotional package, Raman and I have come to an agreement of 3 different types.


The first idea that we have is based on the poster for Star Wars shown to the right. What we would have is an image of our demon Priest as the largest image for the background, with our sinners faces underneath, smaller. The colour scheme would be black and red to meet conventions of a supernatural horror film poster and the title and other information would be shown at the bottom of the poster, similarily to the Star Wars poster shown on the right.

For the second idea, we would have seven different posters with our seven different sinners looking scared located in the locations that related to them in the trailer. A shadow would then be cast down, looking really large and daunting, showing a man standing behind the sinner using back lighting and making the image of a high contrast. The rough drawing of this idea can be seen below:

The tird idea is similar to the first, however includes all of the sinner lined up in the urban location that the demon Priest intially saw them and started stalking them. A shadow would, again, be cast down along the sinners, showing a daunting figure ready to pounce. Each sinner would be in a postion portraying their sin- lust would be in an overtly flirtatious position, gluttony would be eating, pride would be wearing the most expensive outfit with her head held hight, etc.

 

After discussing it as a group, Raman and I decided that we would go with our third idea for our poster.
