Seven Deadly Sins Research

We have decided that we are going to include the idea of the seven deadly sins in our film trailer. Before we develop on this idea, I wanted to do some research into the deadly sins. Looking at what they are and what they actually entail I also wanted to form a collection of images that could give inspiration for each sin. This could then be referenced when Raman and I need to think of our characters and how we could portray the seven sins in just a few shots, a couple of seconds each.

Pride is the excessive belief in one's own abilities.

Envy is the desire for others' qualities.

Gluttony is the desire to consume more than that which one requires.

Lust is an inordinate craving for the pleasures of the body.

Wrath is manifested in the individual who turns away from love and opts instead for fury.

Greed is the desire for material wealth or gain.

Sloth is the avoidance of physical or spiritual work.
