Movie Titles for Poster

I looked at the movie titles of two posters to help with making the movie titles for the SOS poster:

• Shutter Island ('SI')
• The Dark Knight ('TDK')

I looked at where the slogans and actors' names were placed and the order of the titles in the movie title section. The slogan, names and movie titles were different in TDK and SI so for the movie titles, I looked at which title (eg director of photography, line producer etc) was placed where and from that, decided myself which one would be in what order for the SOS poster.

TDK has the actors' names above the movie titles, and SI has the slogan above so as you can see from this post here I tested out which position the slogan should be. I decided to put the slogan above the movie titles and put the list of sins at the top. We did not include the actors' names because then the poster would be overcrowded with: the actors' names, the list of sins, the main title, the release date, slogan and movie titles.

Also, the release date is underneath the movie titles and the production companies are at both sides of that. However, SI has the director's name by the date to make it more prominent than the other titles, but I did not do this because I felt it looked out of place. But we did put the production companies, website address and social network icons by the date as this makes posters look professional.
