Poster Re-done

To re-do the poster, Raman and I decided upon using just the demon priest as the main background image. To the left is the initial image that I started off with of our actor, Corey, with subtle demonic special effects make up applied for enhancement on Photoshop.

Initially, I used the blur tool to airbrush inconsistencies in Corey's facial features, and making his face look more toned and even. I then started experimenting with a red tone overlay to apply to the image. To the right shows my experimentation. I did eventually decide on using a red overlay tone to fit conventions of a horror film poster colour tones and also make the image look more sinister.

I then played around with the contrast and light of the image. This resulted in the image to the left, of which I felt produced an effective portrayal of a sinister demonic man, which was the aim for this poster idea.







I then zoomed in to his eyes and decided to add to the demonic aspect of our Priest by making his eyes black, as shown in the image to the right.

I then decided to enhance the make up already applied and add black tearing blood dripping down his face.
