Editing- adding more sound

Going onto Sound Cloud, I looked for sound overlays to put into our trailer. Discovering many different soundtracks that would suit the footage, and if I overlay the music, would make a unique sound that fits the trailer perfectly, I started collecting sounds that worked well together to create a soundtrack for our trailer.

Converting the sounds to  mp3 formats and downloading them to iTunes, I was able to start manipulating the music found.

Layering the sounds appropriately onto the footage, I started editing the length of shots and adding effects to the footage to fit the unique music applied and make it more effective for 'jump' shots. I also tried to highlight supernatural aspects of the filming and editing using sound, making sure that it emphasised the effect being conveyed.

Choosing appropriate places, I also started adding different sound effects to specific shots and points in the footage to add to the quality and supernatural aspect of the film trailer as well as enhance the overall experience of the hard work put into the footage and editing so far.
