Evaluation of Filming - Sloth Scene

Annie and I went into the Dungeon at set up the camera and lighting - the lighting was difficult to set up as there was not a socket inside the Dungeon, the closest one was on the wall outside. We used a light to create the shadow of the Demon's arms behind me - we did this by placing the light behind Annie who was holding the camera in one hand as a POV shot, and we had a friend helping us who extended her other arm match Annie's and recorded them extending their arms to create shadows to grab the Sloth character.
There were some black-painted steps in the side of a wall in the middle the dungeon and underneath them were some pencils, paper and a black bin bag. There was an old raffle ticket too, and I took this out and saw the number was 745, so I decided to cross out the 45 to leave just 7 visible. There was also a metal spanner-like stick and I put this over the 45 so the 7 was more prominent. I also put the stick there and other things such as a black piece of plastic to make the steps look scruffy and dirty.

As discussed in this post here I decided to put jars on these steps to denote to the audience what Sloth and Greed and spends her money on; the most money was in the Beer jar, the second most in the Food jar and a few pennies were in the Other jar. Normally, a sloth has a very simple life; sitting around and being lazy without a care in the world, however this Other jar connote that Sloth/Greed may be doing other things besides stealing and being lazy, but I decided to leave this ambiguous. To make the labels, we ripped off pieces of brown paper from a paper bag and I took a blue felt tip and wrote the words and then stuck them on the jars towards the top so the money was visible to the audience.

I found two planks of wood and arranged these to make a cross, which I then placed on the last step. I decided to include the 7 on the raffle ticket and this cross to in-directly connote Christianity and the seven sins.
This is what I looked like. Before, I had wanted Sloth to be in a tracksuit with messy hair, however when Annie and I changed Sloth to also represent Greed, I chose for Sloth/Greed to look more like Cat from Gotham - post is here - with a leather jacket, hoodie underneath, black skinny jeans, leather boots and black top. Also, like Cat I wore minimal, natural make-up - concealer, a little foundation and blusher, and a very thin coat of mascara. Annie added earphones to make Sloth/Greed seem absent-minded and to also connote that she is young and has a lot of potential, but instead wastes her time being slothful and choosing to get money in unfair ways.
