Baskerville Old Face
I want the typography to look antique-like, resembling the Bible. I like Baskerville Old Face the best as it was more archaic-looking than Baskerville.

Colours:

The titles will be against a black/dark background so they must be light for the title to be legible.

Dark browny-red
White (to make the background black I went to Layer > New Fill Layer > Black)

Orangey-red (I like this colour as it resembles the titles of The House at the End of the Street here)
Red (this conforms to the horror genre of gore and bloodlust, however this colour is too vibrant)
Yellow (like the red colour above, this colour is too vibrant however, it is good because stands out against the black background)
Red (I made this one slightly darker than the last red I tried - this looked better as it was less vibrant but was still very red)
Out of all these colours, I prefer white for the titles as it looks more professional. Also, it is the most legible against a black background and as the titles will only appear for around 2-3 seconds, the audience must be able to read it quickly.

Outer glow:

I changed the setting of the size of the glow to 5% and this resulted in a very slight outer glow on the text. I like this as it is very subtle and the words are still clear.
I tried 15% and the glow was wider; this looked more mystical and enigmatic. I could use this format of 15% to connote lightness and religiousness. I then changed the glow from yellow to white to make it seem more holy, and I preferred this as it stood out.

I tried out a red glow and I really liked this as red connotes blood and if I were to use this colour, it would conform to the horror genre. Also, when considering how the audience may perceive this, it will immediately indicate horror and gore so they will know the genre to this film.
I changed the noise of the glow to 20% and I like this as it resembles splatted blood, however if I were to put this in the trailer, for those who do not know that I wanted it to look like blood; it may appear pixelated and therefore, unprofessional.
I changed the size of the glow to 40% and this changed the glow to make it form around the letters instead of in between, like before. I like this because it seems more neat, however the red colour is not as visible as it was then the glow size was lower and it was in between the letters.
I increased the spread of the red outer glow to make it more visible - I put it up to 3% and this was already very large. I like this as it looks neat and more mystical - thus, conforming to the supernatural genre of the trailer.
With the same size and spread settings as above, I changed the colour of the glow to white to make it seem more heavenly - fitting in with the pious vs evil storyline.
