Update: Sloth's Sin and Costume

I will be playing the Sloth sinner, however Annie and I have decided that the Sloth sinner will also represent the sin of greed. She will do this by living/squatting in an abandoned building - sloth, and gets money by stealing from people - greed. We decided this as it will mean less actors and also, the two sins link.

As a result, I have decided to change her costume. I was inspired by Cat's costume in the new TV series Gotham - she wears:

  • a leather jacket
  • a hoodie underneath jacket
  • Steampunk goggles over her hood
  • torn black jeans
  • long leather boots
  • fingerless leather gloves
This is how I had imagined Greed to be dressed when they stole money from Gluttony's back pocket, and now that Greed and Sloth have been combined, I believe this is still an appropriate costume for Sloth as well. As she is in all-black, she is less noticeable - especially at night - and this means no one notices her stealing, and entering and leaving an abandoned building.

Previously, I wanted Sloth to look malnourished however now I want her to look healthy as, now that she represents Greed too, she is able to afford food and other luxuries such as beer, an iPad, maybe some make-up to look attractive and healthy. Cat from Gotham wears minimal and natural make-up; a little mascara to look youthful and blusher to look healthy. Her hair is curly and short, and she has a fringe which covers some of her face - further adding to the 'invisible' demeanor.
